Swim21 is the model the ASA use's, in conjuction with Sport England,
for club development. In order for a club to become accredited with Swim21, it must first complete an Audit, followed by an
Action Plan and finally, collect evidence to prove the club has met certain critirea set by the ASA. Once accredited, the
club must continue to improve and develop and yearly Action Plans and Validations must be approved by the ASA in order for
a club to remain in the programme.
Being accredited means a club is safe, well established, managed correctly,
with qualified coaches and is always looking to the future.
